About me
I've spent five years writing code for the web and just as long studying what makes interfaces feel right. That dual perspective — engineering rigour and design taste — shapes every project I take on.
My background is in data engineering. It taught me to care obsessively about performance, to think in systems, and to measure outcomes. I bring that same discipline to web design: every layout decision has a reason, every animation has a purpose, every line of code does exactly one job.
I work with a small number of clients at a time. That's deliberate. Good work takes attention, and attention has limits. If we work together, you'll get mine fully.

How I work
Four focused steps. No bloat, no wasted meetings. Clear communication and deliberate craft at every stage.
Discovery
Before I open an editor, I need to understand your business — who your customers are, what they need to believe to take action, and what your competition looks like. This phase takes one focused conversation, usually an hour.
Design
I design directly in the browser — no Figma handoff phase, no static mock-ups. You see how the site moves and feels from day one. Every choice — type size, spacing rhythm, colour weight — is made with intent.
Development
Clean, semantic HTML. Modern CSS using OKLCH colour space. Vanilla JavaScript with GSAP for intentional motion. No WordPress, no Webflow. The codebase is as deliberate as the design. Typical Lighthouse scores: 95+ across all categories.
Launch
Before anything goes live: accessibility audit, Core Web Vitals optimisation, structured data (schema.org), cross-browser and cross-device testing, and Google Search Console setup. You get a site that ranks, loads fast, and works for every user.
